Message from Maria Canale-Parole, our most senior Parishioner at Sacred Heart.

Her son Dr Adrian writes:

On her 99th birthday, Ma would like to pass on her thanks to Fr Gerry for his lovely card and mass intention, and to all those parishioner friends who have also sent beautiful cards and flowers. She is looking forward to the day when Covid restrictions are lifted, and she might be able to see you all again. She also says she can thoroughly recommend the Mediterranean diet (mainly pasta and red wine)!

Pope Francis Prayer to St Joseph.

Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer,
Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
To you God entrusted his only Son;
in you Mary placed her trust;
with you Christ became man.
Blessed Joseph, to us too,
show yourself a father
and guide us in the path of life.
Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage,
and defend us from every evil. Amen.
