Friday, 5th October – Cafod Harvest Fast Day. Please keep in mind all who lack food and clean water. There will be a collection after the Masses on 6th and 7th October. Gift Aid Envelopes will be available for your offerings.
Sunday October 7th – Food, Francis and our children’s Future, 6pm-8pm Sacred Heart Hall. All parishioners are invited to an inspiring evening of film, food & friendship responding together to Pope Francis’ call to care for creation and to pass on a healthy planet to our children’s children. The Global Healing shared meal will feature film clips from well-known experts, engaging testimonies and on-location filming from around the UK. With the rich variety of cultures in our parish, the evening promises to blend joy for foodies with discussion around fresh practical responses to environmental change.
