General Information.

Offertory Collections

Thank you for your generous response to the Offertory Collections. Please consider signing a Standing Order. This is getting more common as we move towards a more cashless society and we don’t carry cash so much these days.

At English Martyrs, you may have taken a Standing Order form when we distributed the Collection boxes before the lock down. Please let us have them back if you wish to proceed.

At Sacred Heart, we can let you have a form, please phone or email.

You can also donate via the diocesan website.

Here you can download standing order and gift aid forms. You can also make a one off donation to the parish. Follow the donate button.

Holy Communion

Thank you for following the directions for receiving Holy Communion at the end of Mass. And leaving the Church in silence.

You are asked to come up to receive Holy Communion with your mask on and stretch out your hand- flat palm to receive the Host. As you move away remove your mask to consume the Host and then put it on again immediately. Please be aware of distancing when coming to Communion.

Thanks again to all who are helping with the stewarding and cleaning the Church after services.

Hand Sanitisers. We have now got some automatic dispensers for the sanitising. Just place your hand below the unit and the gel will be delivered.
