Here is Mass for the 27th Sunday of Ordinary Time from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bilton, Rugby.

Entrance Antiphon: Within your will, O Lord, all things are established,  and there is none that can resist your will. For you have made all things,  the heaven and the earth, and all that is held within the circle of heaven;  you are the Lord of all.  

First Reading: A reading from the Book of Genesis. They become one body. 

Response: Psalm 127: R.v5. May the Lord bless us all the days of our  life.  

Second Reading: from the Letter of the Hebrews. The one who sanctifies, and the ones who are sanctified, are of the  same stock.  

Gospel Acclamation: Alleluia, alleluia! Your word is truth O Lord, consecrate us in the truth. Alleluia! 

Gospel: A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark.

Communion Antiphon: Though many, we are one bread and one body,  for we all partake of the one Bread and one Chalice.

CANON GERARD MURRAY: Fr Richard Walker, our Vicar General, and Fr Gerry will be formally installed as Canons of the Cathedral Chapter at a Mass on Tuesday at St Chad’s Cathedral celebrated by Bishop Stephen our auxiliary Bishop in the presence of Archbishop Bernard. The Mass will be livestreamed from St Chad’s on  their website http://www.stchadscathedral.org.uk at 12.15pm. Please remember us in your  prayers.

CREATION SUNDAY: We will be singing some hymns at the Sunday morning  Masses at SH and EM. We will need to mute the singing on the livestream because of copyright issues on YouTube. The Masses will be live streamed as normal. See words of the hymns on separate sheet. 

MISSIO APF/RED BOX COLLECTION AT SACRED HEART If you have a Red Box that requires  emptying please bring it in at the weekend Mass and leave it in the narthex. Your emptied box should  be ready for collection from the narthex the following weekend. Please have all boxes/money in at  the latest by Sunday 17th October 2021.

Tinned Carrots, Tinned peas, Tinned Sweetcorn, Tinned pulses, Tinned tomatoes,  Sponge Pudding, Tinned Rice Pudding, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Tinned Spaghetti,  Cream Crackers, Marmalade, Washing Capsules/Powder, Soap, Shower Gel,  Razors. Please donate locally at collection points in stores or bring to Church next  weekend. It would be wonderful if everyone could bring an item from the list or  donate in store.
