Here is Mass for the 24th Sunday of Ordinary Time, Year B, from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rugby.

Entrance Antiphon: Give peace, O Lord, to those who wait for you, that your  prophets be found true. Hear the prayers of your servant, and of your people  Israel.

First Reading: A reading from the prophet Isaiah. I offered my back to those who struck me.

Response: Psalm 114: I will walk in the presence of the Lord, in the land of the living.

Second Reading: from the Letter of St James. If good works do not go with faith, it is quite dead.

Gospel Acclamation: Alleluia, alleluia! I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, says the Lord;  no one can come to the Father except through me. Alleluia!

Gospel: A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark: You are the Christ. The Son of Man is destined to suffer grievously.

THE DIOCESAN VISION; Unfolding God’s Plan

Our vision is to be a Catholic diocese which is faithful to the mission entrusted to us by Jesus  Christ, full of missionary disciples who work together co-responsibly in vibrant communities  of faith, joyful in their service of God and neighbour.

Let us pray for the Church that she may receive from the Holy Spirit the grace and strength to reform herself in  the light of the Gospel. Amen.
