Other parish news

English Martyrs: it was good to welcome the good number who came to our first Public Mass last Sunday. Numbers have been good at Sacred Heart too.  Please support and encourage one another to attend but respect the wishes of those who are not yet ready or available to attend.

Thanks to all who help with the stewarding and caring for safety of the congregation in both places. Please pray for Mary McKeown recently deceased. Funeral Service at English Martyrs Friday 14th at 12.30pm.

Offertory Collections : We appreciate your generous giving to the Church which has been much affected by the present crisis. Thanks to all who have signed Standing Orders and/or who have Gift Aided. Please consider doing this if you don’t already. We will try and deliver the remaining collection envelope boxes soon.

Holy Communion and Leaving the Church; The practical arrangements for seating and moving around the Church are working well. Because we receive Holy Communion at the end of Mass please remember to leave the Church in silence and do not speak until well outside the Church. Please remember the distancing rules of 2 metres if you are having a conversation. We are advised not to gather outside but to leave for home as soon as possible.
